ABOUT FRANKLIN LOC
Franklin LOC is a welcoming, progressive-minded group of women who are interested in civic thinking, democratic practices, a healthy environment and community well-being.
OUR PILLARS
​LOCAL: LOC’s strength is our local focus. We will continue to focus on Franklin-area concerns where we can make the most impact, alongside some county and state actions.

ACTION-ORIENTED: It will be easy to feel overwhelmed by many issues and ways to be involved. We will stay focused by building 3-5 Action Teams to identify tangible, winnable, targeted actions.

VALUES: We will lean on our strong progressive values to guide our choices. While members may have diverse perspectives, we remain united in our commitment to civic thinking, democratic practices, a healthy environment, and collective well-being.

COLLABORATION: We will show up in support of our neighbors, especially the most marginalized and vulnerable, and build partnerships with other local organizations.
​
LISTENING: We will maintain a posture of learning, particularly centering the perspectives of activists who are already doing this work.
